〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕現在台灣天氣相當炎熱，也已經進入西瓜產季，農委會最近就推出一支影片，教大家挑選甜西瓜的方法。
每年4到8月正是西瓜盛產的時候，行政院農業委員會最近在臉書貼出一支影片，教大家輕鬆挑甜西瓜。
選購西瓜技巧可分為看外觀和拍果皮兩部分，盡量選表面光滑完整、顏色青綠明亮、花紋清晰鮮明、果梗呈捲曲狀、瓜蒂部分些微凹陷的西瓜。另外，購買前也可以先拍打果皮，選擇聲音清脆響亮的西瓜，這樣就能挑出多汁又香甜的西瓜。
西瓜的水份含量佔整體約94%，不但不含脂肪、膽固醇，還具備許多人體所需營養素。而且西瓜同時具有解暑、止渴、開胃、利尿等功能。但也因為水份高，中醫建議傍晚後少吃西瓜，避免呼吸、消化系統受影響。
